Albrecht Bischoffshausen

Dr. Albrecht Bischoffshausen has been Managing Director of VFF Verwertungsgesellschaft der Film- und Fernsehproduzenten mbH in Munich since April 2024. After working in the legal department of Bayerischer Rundfunk, in the GEMA General Directorate in Munich and for the WDR mediagroup in Cologne, Albrecht Bischoffshausen was most recently Head of ARD's international coordination and festivals within the ARD Program Directorate. After studying law in Passau, Santiago de Compostela and Freiburg, the fully qualified lawyer spent a year at the University of Exeter/UK and at the TU Dresden. He then completed his doctorate in the field of copyright law as a scholarship holder at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property in Munich. Mr. Bischoffshausen holds an MBA from the Steinbeis SMI in Berlin with a focus on media management with study visits to the NYU Stern School of Business and the Università Bocconi in Milan.
